Transcription Keeper is designed with your privacy in mind. We collect no personal data and have no servers that store your information.
Data Collection
Transcription Keeper does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your recordings and transcriptions stay on your device unless you choose to share them.
Audio & Transcription
When you record audio, the file is stored temporarily on your device. Transcription is performed using Apple's Speech Recognition framework, which may process audio on-device or through Apple's servers depending on your device and settings.
We do not have access to your audio recordings or transcriptions. Apple's privacy policy governs how they handle speech recognition data.
Permissions
Transcription Keeper requests the following permissions:
- Microphone: Required to record audio
- Speech Recognition: Required to transcribe audio to text
These permissions are used solely for the app's core functionality and nothing else.
Third-Party Services
Transcription Keeper does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
